Climate technologies have the potential to abate 90% of 2050 baseline man-made emissions, and there is a ~€270tn investment opportunity in green businesses in that timeframe.

There is no common understanding of the new climate tech scaling journey. The stakeholders are more diverse, and the funding journey is messy and unclear. The manual for the new climate tech journey is missing.

We’ve conducted one of the most extensive studies on new climate tech startups to date, analyzing 3000+ companies and engaging in insightful conversations with ~100 of Europe's climate pioneers and experts. As a result of this study, we’ve created seven bricks, each covering a different climate tech journey and its specific key milestones and success factors to unlock scale and impact.

Our seven climate bricks are building blocks of a greener future. By detailing the climate tech journey for each brick, we make it easy for all stakeholders involved to speak the same language. The climate tech stakeholder map is complicated and requires collaboration. Instead of “move fast and break things”, we need to “move fast and fix things, together”.
